The NFL is one of the biggest markets in the world, but there are plenty of people in the country who aren’t exactly thrilled about the presence of the social network in the U.S. Twitter, which has a billion users, was banned in the United States on Dec. 2.
The company announced that it will no longer allow the use of its API, which allows the company to share and manage user data.
In the U, however, the company is also still allowed to use its API to track user activity, including the tweets, posts and likes that it sends to users.
Here are 10 simple ways to avoid getting banned from Twitter.
Use a social bookmarklet: The NFL, as of this writing, is the only NFL team to allow its users to create a bookmarklet that lets them access the company’s official site without logging in.
Just click on the “More Info” link on the top right corner of the homepage, select the “NFL API” tab and then choose “Create a Bookmarklet.”
The script will open up the Twitter API and then let you enter your own personal information. 2
